Wonderful, deeply emotional tour. Our guide, Greta, was so informative and respectful of the people involved. I highly recommend this tour

An excellent tour from start to finish. Our guide, Sam, was extremely knowledgeable. He succeeded in respectfully sharing the history of the camp. He carefully navigated the group through the main areas of the camp. The tour was informative, intense but incredibly worthwhile.

It was very nice to be accompanied by a guide because it goes to the point while providing more explanations and can answer questions. Adam has the right tone to tell this tragic period DE history.

An incredible and unmissable tour, a must for everyone travelling through the region. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and a great guide.
Meet your qualified guide on the Marienplatz. The guide will provide a small briefing on how the tour will run.
Make a transfer from train to the bus, the bus follows the route the prisoners were forced to march. The train station itself is the original and a majority of prisoners would have arrived there before marching to the camp.
While visiting the Dachau Memorial Site you will learn why the camp opened and who were the first prisoners to arrive. You'll also hear about the camp's evolution, development and SS training facilities, as well as the registration, categorization and treatment of prisoners.
See the Jourhaus, the entrance building and gateway into the camp, the roll call square Appellplatz, and Memorial Site Museum in the former maintenance building. Listen to your guide telling you about the barracks, prisoner life and daily routine, camp perimeter fence and guard towers, the International Memorial, Nandor Glid Sculpture, religious memorials and Barrack X, the two crematoriums, mass graves, and the gas chamber.
After the tour of the Dahchau Memorial Site the tour will return you to the start location on Marienplatz.
