If you’re looking to explore Chicago through its food and history, this walking and eating tour is an absolute gem. Our guide, Mickey, brought the city to life with his deep knowledge, clear passion, and infectious energy. He shared fascinating stories about Chicago’s past and culture at every turn, giving context to both the landmarks and the food we enjoyed along the way. Mickey’s personality was a highlight—he was hilarious, engaging, and made everyone feel welcome. Whether you came solo, with friends, or in a group, he had a way of connecting with each person and creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere throughout the tour. The food stops were top-notch, featuring all the iconic Chicago eats—deep-dish pizza, hot dogs done the proper local way, Italian beef sandwiches, and a few lesser-known gems. Each bite told part of the city’s story, and Mickey tied it all together effortlessly. By the end of the tour, we were full, entertained, and walking away with a richer understanding of Chicago. It was the perfect mix of food, fun, and history. If you have the chance, definitely take this tour—and if Mickey’s your guide, you’re in for something special.

If you’re visiting Chicago and want to experience the city like a local, this walking and eating tour is a must-do! From start to finish, our guide Mickey Jordon made the entire experience unforgettable. His passion for Chicago was contagious—every street corner had a story, and every bite of food came with fun facts and historical context. You could tell he genuinely loves this city and enjoys sharing it with others. The food was incredible—deep-dish pizza, Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, and some surprise local treats we wouldn’t have found on our own. Each stop was thoughtfully chosen and spaced perfectly for walking and digesting. We left the tour with full stomachs, a deeper appreciation for the Windy City, and lots of great memories. Highly recommend booking this tour—and if you can, request Mickey. He’s the kind of guide that turns a good tour into a great one.
