Overview

Augsburg's water industry left many monuments from the late Middle Ages to 1972 - 22 objects are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Augsburg Water Management System". Four Lech canals flow through the Lechviertel. Three monumental fountains adorn the city centre.
