This was an excellent bike tour by Frank at bicycletours.lv. Frank, who is Dutch and a Riga resident, had a great perspective on life in the city and its complex history. We especially enjoyed his insights into Latvia’s support of Ukraine and its satisfying needling of Putin. Because we were on bikes, we were able to travel the city widely, even across the river. We booked ebikes, which we enjoyed and seemed to make the cobblestones easier as we moved at a good pace (tho regular bikes are fine, we are older and love them). We saw neighborhoods we never would have visited without this well-designed tour. Frank was kind enough to tell us that the tour can run a bit longer than advertised and asked us if we had time constraints. The four of us on the tour were very happy that the experience lasted an extra half hour. Well done!
