Rather than just ordering Japanese tea in a cafe or restaurant, this tea–themed experience allows you to learn about tea cultivation and processing from an expert—a former tea farmer and practicing pharmacist. Learn fascinating insights about different types of Japanese tea and have a chance to try seven different varieties, including multiple matcha types and lattes—with snacks included too.

We learned so much about...

We learned so much about tea plants, tea production, and even how to prepare matcha for casual drinking in lattes. We sampled so many great teas and had excellent matcha and hojicha sweets to round things out near the end!
You learn, experience, and enjoy! The best!

I can't stress enough how great this experience is. The host knows his tea, and taught us in an inviting and interested manner. He kept our attention (and our palates) throughout. It wasn't just trying 7 types of tea and learn to make matcha. Within the 7 types of teas, and 3 matchas, there were variations in taste with temperature which we experienced. And yes, he taught us how to properly make matcha, which I feel confident I could do now. This was by far one of the best experiences I have had.
