Me and my good lady really enjoyed the ghost tour with hosts Michelle and Wendy who were superb, very knowledgeable, great insights and lovely ladies. I didnt see anything but it was very eery! Only regret I have is after the end of our tour it started to go dark so the 2nd tour must have felt alot more eeriness. Over the autumn winter months it won't be a problem. My lady said she was touched in a cell ???? I said she'd be lucky ???? great experience, feeling extra cold around certain cells was a bit strange. Might do the 12 hour sleep over ???? thank you, well worth it and some ????

I went with my husband to the tour, our tour guides Malcom and Sarah were excellent very funny and hugely informative. The prison experience was brilliant, much better than I had imagined it would be. I’ve learned a lot about how prison life has changed from Victorian times to modern day.

Fantastic experience. The tour guides Sarah & Malcolm were very informative and a good laugh. Great insight into how the prison had changed over the years. Hubby even had a strange feeling at one point that someone was standing on his foot but nearest person was 3 foot away. Said to be very haunted. Well worth the visit.

A fascinating insight into a world we previously knew little about - other than its representation on large and small screen. Our guide, Alex, was knowledgeable and engaging and kept the tour well-paced and punchy, with a few puns thrown in for good measure! He was considerate of his audience’s responses to some of the darker subject matters involved, pausing to forewarn at relevant points. A memorable and recommended day out, thank you!
