We were fortunate in that we only had the 4 of us in the class. We all got plenty of hands on experience with the pasta. The sauces can’t be made in an hour and we appreciated that we could enjoy our homemade pasta right away. The tiramisu was fun and different. We all enjoyed it and what we learned.

We arrived shortly before the cooking class started. A few participants came a little late, but the Host began right away without them. The appetizers that were promised in the description were not served. The portions were far too small to be anywhere near enough — Federico said it was all for us, even though twelve of us had to share a single pan!!!! (Picture!) The host was wearing sweatpants and worked in such a way that we participants basically had nothing to do but watch. The promised wine tasting also didn’t take place; instead, he served €3 wine ( from Lidl) and told us it was organic wine. Absolutely not recommended!!!!! Way too expensive!!!!

thanks for the spamming review keep going LOL you guys had exactly 100 gr of fresh pasta each person dividend in 3 tasting : tortelloni, maccheroni and tagliatelle a usual portion is 80 gr in restaurant + a tiramisu i think is more than enough for a meal , if you like to eat like pigs just bc you paid a normal price of a class including drinking 10 bottles of wine in 12 people you probably should go to mc donalds lol i think you buy in lidl since you seem a broke people i use just high quality of products have a good life losers

I came to Bologna to learn to make homemade tortellini. Yes I’ve been making pasta since I was 10, as it’s a right of passage in our family. But I wanted to learn this pasta shape from people who do it everyday! I made tortelloni, maccheroni, and tagliatelle along with travelers I met from all over the world. It was SUCH a fun experience and now I feel confident in making it! I went through @stayhungrystaybologna with Frederico who opened up his beautiful home and had a well organized class for us in the kitchen, and we all ate the fruits of our labor in the dining room together. And of course the wine was flowing! He gave us recipes, especially for his ragù (bolognese sauce) and tiramisu! I highly recommend! ???????????????????? He also gave us some suggestions about town including an enoteca and about half the class went there after for more wine! I've seen some of these reviews that are negative on here, and I want to address those... When traveling you have to be flexible. Yes, my original class was canceled (bc no one else signed up) so he kindly fit me into a different one the night before. Were there 5 bottles of different wine with a tasting? No, but we had plenty of wine throughout and it was really delicious! I'm sure we drank at least 5 bottles! He kept the class moving yes, but does anyone really want him to lallygag around while people are waiting for something to do? I loved the pacing of the class. Also when someone opens their own home it's important to be respectful that it's their home. There's only a certain amount of space, and I thought this kitchen was rather large for an Italian apartment! So, one may not do the tiramisu or something else, but that's on the attendee for not volunteering. Everyone in my class had the best time, and those of us that went for wine later talked about how we really enjoyed it!
