Overview
Give yourself the best chance of seeing whales in the wild on this half-day boat tour from Gloucester to the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. Hop on a high-speed catamaran that gets to and from the whales in the least amount of time possible. Once there, look out for humpback and fin whales, plus Atlantic white-sided dolphins and harbor porpoises with the help of a naturalist guide. Loved the trip

This was my wife and four year old son's first whale watching trip, and they're already planning on coming back next year. The crew was very knowledgeable, and most importantly, respectful of the environment.
Excellent except for pushy patrons

We saw a number of whales and the staff commentary was very informative. Well done. The reason I did not give 5 stars is that there were several tall, broad-shouldered people on the boat who aggressively pushed others aside, blocking their views. They stood parallel to the side of the boat maximizing the amount of "viewing space" that they occupied. This problem could have been reduced significantly if they had been willing to face the bow of the boat and turn their heads to see the whales, instead of standing parallel to the side of the boat. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to rotate their bodies 90 degrees to allow more people see the whales better. I found it very frustrating and I am of medium height. Those who were shorter and smaller than I must have completely missed many of the whales that we partially saw.

Best experience ever. Lots of whale sightings and seals as well. Staff was very knowledgeable about the animals and our captain was an expert at maneuvering the boat so everyone got great viewing opportunities. I will go back next time I'm in Gloucester

We had a great time. The crew was awesome and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the Humpback whale and Atlantic White Sided Dolphin.
