Overview
After hotel pickup in Shanghai by your private guide, your tour starts with the 2-hour drive to Tongli Town, watching as the scenery changes from big city to rural China.
When you arrive, your guide leads you through Tongli, one of the country's most celebrated water towns. Split into seven islands by its series of canals, Tongli is home to historical architecture, old bridges, and blooming vegetation. Many of China's water towns disappeared during the country's modernization, so this is a rare chance to experience a setting like this. As you explore, you can pass by gardens and watch locals travel along the waterways by boat.
Visit a restaurant for lunch, and then continue your tour to either a pearl gallery or silk museum—your choice. When your time there is up, make the return trip to Shanghai, where your tour ends with hotel drop-off in the early evening.

Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
Note: Please email your passport name, passport number and date of birth to the local supplier for booking after completing your travel booking and then provide your email address, cell phone number and whatsapp number, according to which the local supplier will send the QR code of the ticket to the customer.
Visitors can take Metro Line 10 and Line 14 and get off at “Yuyuan” station, walk for about 5 minutes to Shanghai Yuyuan Garden, then present and scan the ticket QR code (provided by the local supplier) at the entrance to enter the scenic area (please visit the highlights between 9:00am and 14:00pm).
Shanghai Yuyuan Garden, with its typical Jiangnan garden style, is not only a cultural heritage of Shanghai, but also an important window for tourists to learn about traditional Chinese culture, showing the tranquil and beautiful art style of Jiangnan gardens of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
