Kotoku-in is home to the Great Buddha of Kamakura, one of Japan's most famous statues. This massive bronze Buddha stands at 13.35 meters tall and has survived natural disasters since the 13th century. This statue is unique because you can actually go inside it to see its internal structure. It symbolizes serenity and provides a great place to reflect while walking around the grounds.
Next, you’ll head to Lake Ashi, a volcanic lake formed thousands of years ago, surrounded by mountains and forests. Relax and enjoy a cruise (10 minutes) on Lake Ashi, with breathtaking views of Mount Fuji in the distance and the famous red torii gate of Hakone Shrine floating on the lake.
Arrive at Oshino Hakkai, a village known for its clear spring water and scenic beauty. This is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely lunch. You’ll have time to explore the area and visit the Rst Shinobi No Sato Ninja Village for a taste of traditional Japanese cuisine and a unique ninja-themed experience. After lunch, leave Oshino Hakkai and head towards the base of Mount Fuji. You will have one hour time in Oshino Hakkai and one hour time will be the ride by bus
Arrive at Lake Kawaguchi, one of the iconic Fuji Five Lakes located at the base of Mount Fuji. Marvel at the serene beauty of the lake, surrounded by lush greenery and offering stunning reflections of Japan's most famous peak on clear days. This tranquil spot provides a perfect opportunity to connect with nature and experience the cultural and spiritual significance of Mount Fuji in Japanese tradition.
