Visit the historic Church of Saint John the Baptist, the site of one of the most important royal weddings of the 17th century.
20 minutesAfterwards, we’ll make our way to the Grande Plage, where we’ll admire several iconic buildings such as the Grand Hôtel, the Fort de Socoa, and the Casino.
15 minutesIn the square, we’ll discover the Louis XIV Palace, shops related to the historic royal wedding, and learn about the story of the original macaron.
20 minutesFinally, in front of the Queen’s Palace, we’ll arrive at the harbor, the largest in the French Basque region, where we’ll discuss the traditions of local fishing.
