This was my second time on the Chinatown tasting tour and it was just as wonderful as I remembered from the first time! We learned so much about the history and culture of Chinatown. There was a generous amount of fabulous food at each tasting. Our guide, Katie was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about both the food and the history. I have recommended this tour to so many friends!

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon on the Chinatown food tour. Our guide Katie was really knowledgeable about the neighborhood’s history and culture. She was super engaging and very friendly as well. The food we sampled was so creative and for the most part unlike anything I’ve ever had at a Chinese restaurant. We were so full by the end of the tour but every bite was worth it!!

This approximately three hour tour of various Chinatown eateries includes Taiwan Cafe, Double Chin HK Care, Bao Bao Bakery, Ho Yuen Bakery, China Pearl Restaurant and Shojo Boston. The six locations give you a wide variety of food found in Chinese American restaurants: General Tso's chicken, soup dumplings, Spam fries, dim sum, and an adult beverage at the end; a great way to end the tour. Nicole was very informative. We learned the origin of the Double Chin HK Cafe: the two owners are daughters of Chinese immigrants, both named Chin, thus "Double Chin Cafe." It was there that we had Spam fries. Both the food and tour itself were very good and my wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely as did the other ten people in our group based on our conversations with them.
