Have no idea where and when to meet. No representation near the train station. If the passenger has a Swiss half fare card the discount should be honored during booking.

Perfect day for trip to Gornegrat Summit offering great view of the Matterhorn. My only regret was purchasing two tickets in advance from Tripadvisor site. As this was just a round trip ticket for train ride, which runs continuously throughout the day, I found that I could have easily purchased tickets at the ticket window on day of journey and saved $200 USD. My bad, live and learn.

Gornergrat was a very worthwhile experience. Ride up was very scenic. Technology to get to these high altitudes is incredible. I am almost 79 and did experience some altitude limitations. Not exactly dizziness but certainly some sense of instability walking around at the top. Took it slow and all was fine. Although in pretty good shape I was glad I had my treking pole. Unless you want to do some hiking etc the trip was easily doable in half a day.

It was absolutely brilliant. The ice grotto is included in the price. Super great ice sculptures. Highly recommended. Even the food in the restaurant is fantastic

Even the journey is a great experience with a constant view of the Matterhorn. You can’t get enough of the panorama at the top – mountains and glaciers as far as the eye can see.

The interactive exhibition, which shows the Matterhorn and its surrounding alpine world in all dimensions, will fascinate both young and old and is even a great place to visit on the Gornergrat when the weather is not so good. All tickets which have the Gornergrat as their start or end station include admission to the ZOOOM exhibition.
