Brilliant tour. Guide was fantastic. We saw the best sights in Trondheim ( although no time to buy tickets and enter the cathedral ). Walked through the old and the new. Definitely worth it. Viator representative met us on the quay, so no confusion. Short walk to bus.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. Trondheim is lovely. My score reflects only that the tour description wasn’t totally accurate. The bus portion and the one hour tour of the city was true. They did not mention the hour or longer walk back to the ship, no commentary, just hustling walk back. Why no bus??

Tour and guide excellent!! Inga the guide was simply lovely!!! Meet up poing not explained correctly. Much confusion.
Solsiden means the "sunny side" of Trondheim and is a charming and vibrant district.
Stiftsgården is the royal residence of Trondheim when the royal family is visiting the city.
You can enjoy a spectacular view over the city from this viewpoint, which the locals call "Sverresli", in the Byåsen area.
Take a stroll around the 17th century fortress, originally built to defend the city. Enjoy a beautiful sight on the river Nid and the city center.
Nidaros Cathedral is Scandinavia’s most stunning and magnificent cathedral as well as the best well-preserved Gothic building in Northern Europe.
We will cross the famous red old town bridge, known as the "Portal of Happiness". The best view on the old warehouses by river Nid.
Now we continue through the district of Bakklandet. On the other side of the bridge we will find the only bicycle lift in the world.
The heart of the city is the market square with a statue of the city founder Olav Tryggvason. Here are many restaurants and the main shopping mall.
The hotel Britannia, a touch of "Wall Street" and "5th Avenue" in the city center will complete our walk.
