Great experience!

miller9999, Apr 2025

Best e-bike tour ever! Eddie was great! Small group so we moved at a good pace. Eddie provided earpieces and talked to us throughout the trip. Safety tips, things to see etc. Gave a great overview of Auckland geography and history. Took us to the top of Mt Eden. Great scenery throughout. E-bikes very well maintained. Highly recommend!

Great way to spend a free day in Auckland

amandabY6844YM, Apr 2025

I’ve told anyone I’ve met that has a free day in Auckland to do this tour. It’s a great ‘highlights of the city’ kinda way to spend a morning with a guide that is truly enthusiastic about sharing about his city. Equipment was all in great shape, briefing before hand to make sure everyone was comfortable and off we went to see the sites. Highly recommend!

Fabulous e-Bike Tour - Book it!!

jsflamb, Apr 2025

My teen and I loved this tour. We had never ridden e-bikes before but Carson’s instructions were great so we caught on quickly. We had gorgeous weather and a small group - there were 4 of us plus Carson. We started out riding along the marina and then wove our way thru Victoria Park, parts of the city then up to the Auckland Museum where we had a great view. We then rode down to the waterfront and along the water all the way up to Mission Bay. Carson filled us in on the history of Auckland and NZ all along the way. We especially liked hearing some personal anecdotes sprinkled in throughout the tour. He took several great photos of us in different spots so this was terrific. We def recommend this tour!!

Awesome to hear you both loved your tour with Carson! And thanks so much for recommending us ????????

A fun way to explore the city

Honor_C, Apr 2025

This was a fun way to explore the city. We all wore a head set so the guide could communicate with us and give us a commentary as we rode past different sights. The pace was good, so that we were able to ride together as a group and not get separated. I really enjoyed this tour

    • Whilst experience riding an electric bike is not necessary (we'll provide an orientation and we'll do a test ride to make sure you're comfortable before we head off), you must of course be able to ride a bike! If you haven't ridden in a while, for your enjoyment/safety and that of your fellow riders, we strongly recommend you have a practice riding at home before your visit to Auckland. As well as riding on our wonderful cycleways, we will of course be riding in the road at times (to get to the good places!). Riding in traffic is a dynamic environment, so you will need to be comfortable riding in the road in order to enjoy the tour. And Auckland's volcanic past means that there a quite few hills to go up and down - the eBikes make going up easy, but you'll obviously need to be able to ride downhill! If you’d prefer a shorter, easier ride along Auckland’s beautiful waterfront - check out The Easy Rider, one of our other tour listings!
