Perfect introduction to Oslo

GlennS55travels, Aug 2024

There is no better way to see a city than to kayak along its main waterway. In years gone by, the river was a key part of transporting goods in Oslo. By kayaking along the river you get to see the city and its key attractions from the best vantage point - a kayak on the river. Dean , our guide and his brother, looked after the group from beginning to end. Our safety was their prime concern but having fun was right up there. Our pre trip briefing was clear and we got terrific guidance on where best to paddle along the way. You don’t need to be an Olympic athlete to enjoy the kayaking. The pace was very relaxed. Good for families, oldies and everyone in between. Thanks Madgoats for a wonderful afternoon.

Great fun!

Nettes82, Aug 2024

I booked a kayak tour on Akerselva for me and my daughter (16), as a fun way of experiencing old sites in a new way. We had zero experience with kayaking, but the guide was very clear and calm during his instructions, making it easy to understand. This made every obstacle on our way easy to tackle without being stressed out, when being stuck on a rock or crashing into low hanging branches. As we were a small group, we reached the "end station" quite early, so the guide gave us the opportunity to explore the Sørenga area for a while as well. We loved this tour experience, such a fun way to do something different in our own city. Thank's so much, we will do this again!

Thank you for the 5 star review - you just made the Goats very happy! We are also very happy when Oslo residents join because like you said “you get to experience Oslo in a completely new way”. Thanks again and hope to catch you on the water again one day! :) :) :)
