The pianist captured the poetic spirit of Chopin with remarkable energy. Each phrase felt carefully shaped yet beautifully flowing. The performance left a lasting impression through its warmth and expressive clarity. At the end of the show people started crying.

Beautiful salon - but! I was told which row to sit in, when there were many better seats free. Noisy air conditioning. A small child was allowed in. There were people videoing the concert, which was even more annoying because they were reflected in a giant mirror behind the piano. The octagenarian pianist was terrible. She banged out every note as though she had a personal grudge against the piano.
