Tired of monotonous guided tours full of historical dates that are impossible to remember? Me too! That’s why I created a unique audio tour, a perfect mix of fun facts, surprising anecdotes and pithy humor.
This tour is for those who want to have fun while discovering the city. No lessons in encyclopedic history, just the essentials and behind the scenes that the classical guides do not tell you. I have lived in Geneva for more than 30 years, so believe me, I know what I am talking about!
Here, no filter: I will tell you as much the good as the little truths about the city. You are 100% autonomous, move at your own pace, take a shopping break or a meltdown. And above all, enjoy!
So, ready for a tour that's off the beaten track? Launch your audio and let yourself be surprised!

I enjoyed it. Simple and cheap way to get a quick look at some key features. I'm only in town for a day and a half and I have other stuff to do, so it was ideal for me. Wasn't expecting the bad language - I don't care, I have a mouth like a sewer, but others might. I have a problem with app you have to download. It installed fine but the map didn't work. So I fudged it together by putting the landmarks into Google Maps and just listening to the commentary in the other app. It was fine, no big deal.

Does exactly what it says - easy to follow, amusing commentary and interesting landmarks. En route we visited the archaeological site under the cathedral, which was absolutely fantastic and well worth the 8 Euro entry fee, so do allow an hour at least to enjoy this. We parked in the Plaine de Plainpalais (nicest carpark ever), so decided to start the tour at the closest point, namely Batiens Pk. This was ok, however some of the explanations didn't work out-of-sequence, so I would recommend starting at number 1. We had planned to enjoy a drink in a cafe on the lakefront, but in the stretch covered by the tour, there were no cafés at all. (Probably because we visited in February, but it's worth being aware of this if you visit out of season.) We eventually found a little cafe in Bations park, and enjoyed a crepe and a waffle (with disgusting hot "chocolate") then had a game of chess on one of the giant chess sets. Julien stayed in contact and was brilliant throughout. He suggested parking options and helped us navigate the app. It's worth spending a bit of time getting it all set up ahead of your visit, including downloading it onto your phone. We were visiting from France, and one of our phones wouldn't work in Switzerland ????

This was our first time in Geneva so we chose this audio tour. It was very informative and also very funny. It was a comprehensive tour of the main points of interest in Geneva. We laughed a lot and we really advise anyone visiting Geneva to get this audio tour, you will not regret it.

I had a day to explore Geneva with just my toddler. I decided to do this audio tour. I really enjoyed it - saw a lot and learned a lot. I would definitely recommend it if you have some time in Geneva and aren’t sure where to go or what to see. I liked it better than an in-person tour, as you could go at your own pace, or take a detour if you wanted.
