First Cliff Walk, a trip in sunshine that is more than worthwhile????????

Great trip to First Cliff Walk! With the 6-seater gondola from Grindelwald up to the First, all in one ride. On the ridge then the Cliff Walk. Very doable, great views, great pictures. Afterwards a stop on the beautiful First Terrace, sunshine ☀️ and very courteous service. Thank you.

The views were fantastic. The ride up and down were smooth and if you walk towards the lake there is a nice bar and the staff were very helpful

Entire family went paragliding off of the top of First. Absolutely incredible experience. Exciting and relaxing at the same time. Remarkable views. Professional guides. Efficient gondola ride. Also did the First cliff walk. Wonderful experience. The Grindelwald area was a terrific place to vacation for an entire week.

The smoothest gondola I have ever rode but you are not at all focused on that, you are focused on pressing your eyes up against the windows. Visited in mid May weather was in the 40*s Fahrenheit and there was quite a bit of snow at the top so dress accordingly and wear waterproof shoes/boots. The hike to Lake Oeschinen was "closed" at this time as well and the lake itself was frozen over. The entire visit was a bucket list checker, the zipline was so much fun and the Cliff Walk definitely tested your nerves even though it felt very sturdy. I would buy tickets ahead of time at jungfrau.ch as well as get there early as lines do fill up quickly and you do not want to spend all day waiting when there is so much to do. #grindelwald #switzerland #zipline #tissotcliffwalk @grindelwaldfirst

The trip is unguided, you may just board the gondola. You find the location/GPS of the departure station on Google and on the Jungfrau Railways website.
You gently float up to First in the security of the gondola. On the sunny side of the Grindelwald Valley the aerial cableway leads from the glacier village of Grindelwald to First at 2168 m above sea level.
The wide variety and exciting attractions found in this region include the First Cliff Walk by Tissot and the hike to the Lake Bachalpsee, which is known as the pearl of mountain lakes.
First Flyer, First Glider, scooter-bike rides, First Mountain Cart are also fun activities to purchase and enjoy when on top! You simply cannot plan adventure. You find one. On First that is a certainty.
