What could I possibly write that can do justice to this place? Breathtaking,immersive,beautiful and stunning. Humanity has build some amazing structures and this is one of my favourite places. Not just the tower,but the Baptistery and grounds also. The view from the top of the tower(294-296 steps) it’s worth the climb. A great family day trip and only an hour from Firenze by train. 15 minute walk from the Pisa train station. Coffee shops and beautiful restaurants only a minutes walk from the tower also.

Andrea was a terrific guide, mixing history with humor and giving us local insight. Wear sneakers so the climb up the leaning tower is a little less treacherous. Highly recommend this tour for a one day train ride to see the main sights in Pisa.

Wear good walking shoes and take your time climbing the tower. At 66 and moderately fit, not a bad climb. Also enjoyed learning more about Pisa.

- When the visit of the Baptistery won't be possible due to some baptism, we will visit the cemetery instead. Cathedral could be closed due to religiuous reasons and not visitable during the tour.
- Dress code: to go inside the cathedral, back, shoulders and at least half tight must be covered or entrance to the monumento won’t be possible
- DiscoveryPisa offers a refund on cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to your tour. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your tour will not be refunded .As stated above, we do not refund clients within 24 hours of a tour, and this includes customers who are late due to flight or train cancellations, delays, strikes or issues caused by traffic or congestion, etc. We do not refund either if these problems are caused by the rain. For the customers arriving by cruise ship, pay attention to how far the harbour is from the meeting point.
- Tower tickets timing: English 12.00 or 12.15, German 14.30.
- Due to the 2025 Jubilee and its Ceremonies, the Cathedral may not be open to visitors or could be visited only partially, and the guide will have to do his explanation from the outside, as well as on Sunday mornings.
