It was a great day tour for those who don’t drive. Ljubljana is very beautiful and touristy, like any other European villages. Good thing was it’s very cute and walkable everywhere with lots of things to see and eat. Obviously the highlight is Lake Bled. It is mesmerising, so peaceful to be there. The boat ride to the island was €20 extra, but the guide didn’t say that there are other options as well, which I would have enjoyed if I knew - paddling own canoe or electric boat. Regardless, it was good experience. The castle was interesting enough, again €18 extra, for a beautiful view, but can’t expect amazing history or other things.. Our tour guide was friendly and helpful, which made our day easy.

definitely a pleasant and romantic place... it's worth spending a 1/2 day walking around the lake and maybe climbing to the castle to have a nice view of the lake
