My highlight of my stay in Atlanta

245carrieh, Jun 2026

This operation is one of the best. If you can book directly I recommend it. They are flexible, personable and professional! Loved our tour guide, Jessica, as she truly made the history come alive and her knowledge of current events gave a great perspective on Atlanta. There is walking up some small hills. Didn't seem like much to me coming from Colorado but do bring comfy shoes and dress for weather. This was the highlight of my stay in Atlanta.

Don’t miss this quintessential Atlanta tour!

Pamela_H, May 2026

I’ve taken this tour (or similar) 3 times in the past 5 years, during previous trips to Atlanta. I consider it a “must do” experience whenever I’m traveling with friends who have an interest in history and/or civil rights. Tuesday’s tour with Jessica was particularly good. She is an EXCELLENT tour guide, and really brought the stories to life. 5 stars for sure!

The stories behind the stories you thought you knew!

Jessica was one of the best guides I’ve ever had & I’m picky as a former bus guide & cruise director. She was passionate, knowledgeable and knew the history while weaving in current events and consequences. And she was fun! Highly recommend.
