A very nice stadium. Getting to the game using SEPTA train made getting in and out a breeze. The fans were friendly. The concourse area was wide enough to avoid major congestion. The seats were comfortable, however the cup holders didn't line up in front of the seat they were intended. Had to reach in front of your neighbor to get a drink. Sound system was outdated. Food and drink prices hefty....almost a given anymore with NFL. Ticket prices were extremely high.

So my wife is a San Francisco 49ers fan and I am a Philadelphia Eagles fan. We were both going to Lincoln Financial Field for the first time, so I did a lot of research on whether my wife should wear her 49ers gear or not due to Eagles fans not having the best reputation. We chose for her to wear her gear and I would just stay with her anywhere we went. This turned out great and we had a blast!! We sat on the Eagles side at the 12yd line in section 136 (about 20 rows up from the field). There were some 49ers fans near us, but none within high-fiving distance. Even though we had fun, this does not mean we didn't run into any hecklers. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO NOT ENGAGE....for example, my wife and I got a picture with the field behind us, which means we are looking up at the rest of the Eagles fans (I knew this wasn't the best idea, but gotta get the pics for Instagram lol). During the 20 seconds that we were taking the picture, some Eagle fans yelled out, "Leave her!" and "You can do better!" and "Find yourself an Eagles girl!". But we just took our picture and ignored the idiots. They are looking for any kind of reaction, so if you don't react, their heckling just gets diffused. This happened maybe one other time, but like I said, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO NOT ENGAGE. For the gentlemen, not engaging does not mean you aren't sticking up for your lady, you are actually protecting her even more from the idiots. And the idiots are few and far between. Most of the Eagles fans were really nice!!...or nice enough =). Aside from not engaging, don't give the hecklers any reason to get rowdy. This doesn't mean you can't celebrate. My wife cheered when 49ers scored or made a good play, but she wasn't obnoxious. The next time we go, we will try out the Visitor section so she has more 49ers fans around her that she could celebrate with. However, we had a great time, had some friendly competitive conversations w/ other opposing fans, and made some friends along the way.

Super exciting football game! The atmosphere in this stadium is incredible: the fans enthusiasm is infectious, the cheerleaders are fabulous and the Eagles ended up winning….. an eagle flew over us during the opening ceremony: beautiful! I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The people who work at the stadium are very helpful. My one and only complaint and the reason for giving this a 4: the food choices are very limited and unhealthy. Please do something about it!!!!!!!!
