We saw areas of Chester we'd never seen before even though we were familiar with the city. Secret nooks and crannies.

I liked the way the tour guide took us through the ages in central Chester from pre Roman almost to present day. I am a local but I learnt so much. Recommended value for money and fun.

A really fascinating tour of Chester with all its beautiful buildings, many churches and the city wall. Roland the guide was full of interesting facts and the 90 minutes whizzed by. I would definitely recommend it as an introduction to Chester.
The Town Hall square will be the starting point of our adventure. Imagine a scene and a place and tread with me in the location of their stories, a Roman Fortress, a medieval abbey, Chesters gothic style town hall.
Chester Cathedral and surrounding area -A Mercian princess and a talking goose! A Norman Earl, the Wolf with the power to make and break Laws. A survivor of the Dissolution frenzy. A Victorian facelift.
From the lives of everyday folk and their medieval houses, to the homes of the landed gentry with townhouses and mansions to impress.
Throughout the four main streets that lead to The Cross -Experience Chester as a medieval city, a major trading hub, a fortress for a legion and a base for armies.
Chesters iconic Eastgate clock and surroundings - Stand on the walls of the city; originally for defence, they kept enemies at bay and later became a grand promenade.
Famous for its unique Rows, incredible architecture and its historic streets. Visitors from all over the world come here to admire its ancient beauty. Chester is also a city of stories, some of adversity, some of adventure and some of love.
A modern thriving and bustling city with fabulous shops, bars and restaurants in fascinating historic buildings.
Medieval markets, cock and bull stories, a Roman headquarters and buskers delight.
Eastgate Street and Bridge Street - Chester is a 'City of Love'. Discover the heart of this ancient and romantic city.
