Excellent value for money

887pattier, Jul 2026

Although I have lived local to Chester for many years and visit the City often I’d never taken a tour - at £15 for 90 minutes of wonderful history insights to this beautiful City is a definite bargain - the time went so quickly but at a pace that allowed you to take in all the information. Caroline was an enthusiastic tour guide who really cared about her group and subject - thank you

Great intro to Chester - its past and relevance today

joannevH4769DW, Jun 2026

Excellent introduction to the city, its history dating back to the Romans, how it declined through the Middle Ages, and its resurgence to what it is today. Learnt so much about the city, the link with the Duke of Westminster, why Prince William is the Duke of Chester, the first ever shopping mall in the world.... It was so interesting and the pace was just right. Phil was engaging and considerate of the group. We stopped at some great photo locations as well. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. I’m really pleased you enjoyed the tour and that you found it both interesting and enjoyable from start to finish. It was a pleasure showing you around Chester, and I’m glad the pace worked well and that we had time to stop for a few photos along the way. Your recommendation means a great deal, and I hope to welcome you back in the future—there are always more stories to tell.

Great tour of the heart of Chester

c3rb3ru5, Jun 2026

Very hot day in Chester. Caroline was very considerate with showing us the Eastgate clock, The rows, and outside of Chester Cathedral, while finding areas of shade and even stopped when we wanted ice cream. She drew us a historical timeline of the context and sights. Unfortunately that we could not see some of the sights due to the heat, but I appreciated the time take to highlight and abbreviate the tour for our comfort!

Phillip was very knowledgeable and engaging, he took us places we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. The tour was just the right length to keep us all interested too.
