Stunning palace & cathedral but inadequate English Guide

The visited sites themselves are stunning and would have benefited from a better tour guide. The English speaking guide speaks broken English with a strong accent and none of us was able to follow the contents. The pace was slow partly because we couldn’t understand what he’s telling us. We’d rather spend that time waiting around on exploring the palace garden. All in all, not great experience and not good value for money in our view. Hope other visitors have a guide who speaks English more clearly.

What a difference a Viator guide can make

My husband and I visited the Mosque-Cathedral in Cordoba a number of years ago. What a difference having a guide to this extraordinary place made. As with all the other Viator guides we have had, our guide was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the building itself and even more about its history over the years. Patio de los Naranjos, main entrance of the Mosque Cathedral. We will have the opprtunity to have an introduction about the origin of the current building and the changes along the time.
10 minutesMezquita Cathedral de Cordoba
We will enjoy this impressive building and how it is conserving the decorative style of an Islamic mosque, construction of the magnificent monument began in the 8th century. Later extensions vastly increased its size, turning it into the second biggest mosque in the world before it became a Catholic cathedral.
