Do this tour before going to Florence!

This was definitely worth doing before going to Florence. Fiesole was founded and existed prior to Florence. You learn the history leading up to Florence. Our guide was spectacularly knowledgeable.

The tour with Marco was nothing short of exceptional. His passion for art, history, and the cultural and political changes of the region was evident. Marco is a modern Italian treasure. Our 5 days with him in Chianti and Tuscany were beautiful and so informative. His background in Art History sets him up as a wonderful tutor delving deeper into Italian culture. His command of the English language was very helpful. Not only a great guide, he is personable and entertains with many antidotes added to the commentary. Always chose Marco !

Marco is one of the most knowledgeable Art History guides in Florence and touring the Uffizi, Bargello Museum and Pitti Palace with his guidance was brilliant .
