We had a super guide in Naima. My daughter and I booked on a tour. We were the only ones on the tour but because we couldn’t change our date the tour still went ahead which is was professional and appreciated. The tour itself was excellent. Our guide was very engaging and pitched it just right for us. A mix of history and a bit of JK Rowling and Harry Potter context. Most enjoyable.

My wife and I were fortunate to have Sam as our guide. Sam was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly teaching us anything and everything about Oxford and the connections to Harry Potter.

Our guide Dimas was extremely nice! We learnt a lot, not only about harry potter but also about Narnia and the Lord of the Rings. And more insight on the authors themselves as well. Sadly we weren't able to visit the inside of the Library or Christ church (It was not included in the tour and you have to book well in advance for tickets). This tour did not disappoint! If you like to learn more about the background information of how the stories were created, than this is the tour for you!

Our guide was very knowledgeable about both Oxford and Harry Potter. He was very friendly and made the tour fun - a true Hufflepuff. New college was closed and it doesn’t go as far as Christchurch, but we still saw a lot.

Hiya. Thanks for recommending your tour experience. For anyone else reading this, please note that we offer three versions of the Harry Potter Oxford tour experience here as follows: 1) Public or private tour including entry to Divinity school. This tour lasts 90-120 minutes 2) Public or private tour including above plus self guided audio guide entry to Christ church. This tour lasts just over 2 hours guided plus 1 hour self guided entry to Chch college 3) private group tours only to New college plus Divinity school lasting average 2 hours.
See inside Divinity School film site at Bodleian Library- worth £2.50 entry fee included in your ticket.
NB we do NOT visit inside the medieval library as it does not anyway permit private guiding inside. If you do wish to see inside Duke Humfreys library, then you can book tickets for that directly from the Bodleian website but they only permit entry to children aged 12+ or adults.
We also see and describe many stories about Oxford university and student life and we pass by and introduce most of the famous sights of Oxford during the tour eg Radcliffe Camera, University Church, Bridge of Sighs and multiple colleges of the university.

We briefly introduce a range of colleges or sightseeing spots such as this one, on our route. We introduce stories about the making of the Goblet of Fire, filmed at New college. If you wish to visit New college after our tour ends, you can visit New college until 4.30pm. It's open every day except in winter, it's closed on Mondays.
Notice: on any dates that Divinity school is closed, we instead replace it with entry to visit New college which is worth £8 entry fee.
