The best part of my Miami trip!

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour of Little Haiti! Cidelca is a fantastic guide (educator!). I’ve studied a bit about Haitian culture and learned so much during the tour. Cidelca is well connected in the neighborhood and I was happy to meet the shop owners and try some Haitian treats!
Disappointing Little Haiti Tour

The two tour guides, a Haitian American man and a French woman, were very knowledgeable. But there’s not much to see on this tour. The market was empty. The cultural complex had a few small galleries. We saw the former site of Dr DuPuis’ house and Mapou bookstore. But unlike previous reviews, there was no golf cart, no urban farm, and no bakery or snacks. They did recommend two Haitian restaurants: Chef Creole and Naomi’s Garden.
