Our tour guide Alex was fantastic. The food stalls in the market were good. Alex did a great job sharing information and really shined in visit to Ikseon-dong and Insa-dong areas. Loved the bakery and tea stops.

We explored Gwangjang Market, Ikseon, and Insadong Culture Street, each offering their own delicious specialties and lively atmosphere. The highlights for me were definitely the steamed dumplings, the crispy mungbean pancakes, and the unexpectedly delicious matcha & red bean salted bread. There was even a “secret food” that added so much fun to the journey! Alex, our guide, was amazing: friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer a lot of questions about Korean food and culture. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to get a real taste of Seoul’s flavors, especially if it’s your first time in Korea.

A really nice tour with guide Jenny and a very nice couple from the US. We visited the market and a few other spots for really authentic local food and some drinks. I’ve done a few of these tours in different countries and Seoul is ideal, being so compact and rich in food culture. The people make it, however, so thank you to the others on the evening for making it so much fun!
