Overview
An opportunity to delve into the history, art, culture, traditions, myths and legends of the third largest city in Spain. We will be able to explore famous City of Arts and Sciences, with futuristic structures, such as the planetarium, the oceanarium and an interactive museum. The historic center of the city and the park of the Albufera, a reserve of wetlands with a lake and trails. With more than 2,000 years of history, the city, which has been home to Romans, Visigoths and Muslims since it was founded in 138BC, boasts one of the largest historical centres in Europe.

I'm heading up towards Alicante from Valencia The rear grilles of the seats in front of mine full of food and debris. Come on, I'll spend 2 hours smelling like I'm in a garbage dump.

Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias
The City of Arts and Sciences is an architectural, cultural and entertainment complex in the city of Valencia, designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela, together with the engineers who authored the structural design of the roofs of the L'Oceanografic Alberto Domingo and Carlos Lázaro. We will visit the cultural complex that makes up the different buildings, learn about its history and above all appreciate its breathtaking panoramic views.

Located in a central part of the city, it is the heiress of the ancient forum of "Roman Valentia". Around it are three of the most emblematic buildings of the city: the Cathedral of Santa Maria, the Basilica of the Virgin of the Homeless and the Palace of the Generality. We will have the opportunity to know its surroundings and the rest of the neighborhood that gives life to the historic center of the city.

It is the urban beach par excellence, located north of the municipal area, between the town of Alboraya and Acequia de la Cadena Street. With a length of 1,000 meters and an average width of 135 meters, it houses the central core of Valencia where its buildings, fountain and different leisure spaces reflect the emblem of the city and its charms.

The Albufera de Valencia was declared a natural park in 1986. However, its history goes back much further in time.
