It was an amazing experience, just a warning though, there were a lot of stairs. There is an elevator, but you would miss much of the tour. The castle was so well preserved, to actually be where Michelangelo visited was exciting. If you’re in reasonably good shape, you shouldn’t have a problem.
The Aragonese Castle is a historic fortress that stands imposingly on a rocky islet connected to the island of Ischia via a stone bridge. Founded in 474 BC, it has seen numerous chapters in history, serving as a bastion against invaders and a refuge for the local population. Its architecture is a palimpsest of different eras, with walls that tell stories of rulers and conquerors. In addition to its strategic value, the castle is a place of breathtaking beauty, with gardens, churches and courtyards offering panoramic views of the blue sea that surrounds it. Visiting it means taking a step back in time, exploring ancient corridors and appreciating works of art and architecture that have resisted the passage of centuries.
Visit to the village of Ischia bridge. Customers will visit the fishing village, there will be a chat with the local fishermen to explain a bit of history and small charastrics for the Borgo di Ischia ponte
