Really enjoyed the trip. Our guide was very friendly and had great stories and great tips for us throughout our trip. The woods were beautiful, we had enough time to enjoy plenty of walking and wandering the woods and some time in the gift shop before getting back on the bus. Would definitely do this again and happy to use Big Bus for another trip

Choose Another Company for Muir Woods

The Big Bus Muir Woods Tour was a let down. We took the afternoon tour which did a super brief narration of SF on the way over the bridge. I was disappointed that all the sites were on the right side of the van and no stop to take photos after you cross the bridge. Muir Woods was beautiful but not enough time. Next time I would try another tour company or take the ferry over. The Big Bus tour ( hop on hop off) was worth it, but not the Muir Woods.

Wonderful Muir Woods Tour

The tour was perfect from start to finish. Friendly staff at check-in, and an amazing tour guide/driver named Lester. Lester provided us with great history of the city, and of Muir Woods. He is also entertaining. At Muir Woods we had time to see the main trail, which is paved and well maintained. A beautiful experience recommended for all ages.
