Great guide & tour //

Heiner was a great guide and very friendly :) He gave our group history of the volcano and information about the natural environment in Costa Rica. The nearby cows were a highlight of the tour at the end and the pineapple and papaya was delicious

We had a great time with Diego and Andres!! Very informative and interesting learning about the volcano eruption of 1968. While you can hike this on your own, I strongly recommend doing a guided tour so you don’t miss out on some of the interesting history and new vegetation of the land. After the hike, we were greeted with fresh fruit and water :)

We went on the private volcano hike with Karina! It was a great hike and she was an awesome guide. My husband and I are not in the greatest shape but she kept a good pace, did not push us and was so knowledgeable about the area. The hike itself has some uphill, is not that hard, and is a combination of a dirt trail and some lava rocks, but the scenery is so beautiful that you so frequently to admire it that you don't notice anything.
