A moving experience led by James a truly informative guide who obviously has a keen knowledge and appreciation of the history of the site.

A very different experience knowing what happened there, but such an important part of history. Our guide James was absolutely amazing and full of so much knowledge, I thought I knew about what happened there, it was apparent after a few minutes I did not. I would highly recommend this tour with James, a very sombre experience but I'm very glad I did it. It's a short 20 minute train ride and then 10 minutes on a bus from the meeting point, James has all the tickets and where you need to go sorted.

The group, DE 22 people, was NO small group. The level DE explanations in the very basic guide, with a lot of emphasis EN on morbid aspects and little analysis. Moreover, his strong accent made him NO stranger to DE native English. NO match for what they sell. ES This is a basic tour DE Dachau EN flock. For what is the price is excessive

Congratulations,. You book an English tour and you complain about not understanding the guide is on par with someone booking a tour in winter and complaining about the cold! A basic analysis and focus on the morbid!!!! I would be interested in knowing what analysis or non morbid history of a former concentration/death camp you were looking for! I guess we will never know. 99.8% of our guests get it so where does this place you? Your intelligence or lack there of is clearly showing. Why didn't you book a tour in Spanish? We can not apologise for your experience under these circumstances.

James provided an excellent tour of a very sad and somber place. The day we went was rainy, and he was very skillful about giving us relevant history to understand the events that led up to the Holocaust from dry locations while waiting for trains and other groups. The buildings and exhibits he focused on while on site painted a picture of what people experienced in Dachau, and the stories he shared were moving and respectful of the victims while not shying away from the horrors inflicted. Our visit sat heavily on me for days afterwards, especially returning home to the U.S. where parallels in our politics made me full of dread. James also gave us some excellent recommendations for food in Munich, and both restaurants were favorites of our trip there. He struck the perfect balance of respectful of Dachau but fun-loving and entertaining discussing tourism and life in general. It was well worth choosing this tour and this guide.
