Paolo is a good guide leader

My wife and I have just completed a 2 hour tour to St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican with Paolo as our guide leader. Paolo did an excellent job and paid attentions to the detailed aspects. He made sure we did have a good learning experience as well as have a good time. Good job Paolo...Next time coming back to the Vatican, we would like to request Paolo to be our guide leader. Chiara Antonelli is the best guide we ever had. It's not only about her great knowledge and competence in art, artists and architecture but it's about her passion to take us with her on a time trip through the past times to understand the historical context. But what is really exceptional about Chiara are her entertaining qualities. We learned and understood but with a lot of fun. Most of the guides we met also have great knowledge but are often too intellectual. Chiara wants to inspire and entertain the people she guides. Very rare!!! 5 stars!!! Martin & Thales

It's also very important to note that you travelled to Rome in Covid times when fear sowed by mass media has convinced the vast majority of people to avoid travel. Meet your expert Vatican tour guide on the threshold of St. Peter's Square and make your way across marble paving to the steps which wind up and around the dome. There are 551 in total so of course this is too much exertion for most. We take the elevator part of the way which cuts the step count by a sizable 171, leaving 380.
