Doug did an incredible job showing us the wildlife in the bush as they call it. His humor and love for people and animals shined thru.

Great to hear! Dougie is one of a kind & a very special individual who loves his job, his backyard & the travellers that he takes out on tour. Like us all, his passion of the region is exemplarily & is easily contagious, so glad that you got to experience some of Port Lincoln with us & Doug! Many thanks for joining one of our tours & taking the time to write another 5 star review: its much appreciated! Cheers mate, David

We arranged a private full day tour with David in June and whilst the weather wasn’t the greatest, the wildness of the coastline really made for a special day. David was an amazing guide, full of knowledge about the local area, the characters and the surrounding communities. We learned a lot and felt like we had made a new friend by the end of the day. Highlights were many but the standouts were the explosive Southern Ocean coastline, the Mikkira koala sanctuary and the epic lunch spread including Coffin Bay Oysters and Spencer Gulf Prawns, as well the sunset drinks and nibbles by the fire. Special mention to Renae for her assistance in making the day special for us as well. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much Chris for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review! It was a real pleasure to host you on your private day tour, and we’re thrilled to hear that the wild beauty of the Eyre Peninsula left a lasting impression—even with a bit of classic June weather! David will be chuffed to know his local stories and insights helped bring the region to life for you. He’s a gem, and we agree—by the end of a day like that, it does feel like you've gained a new mate. We’re glad you enjoyed the full experience—from the roaring Southern Ocean and sleepy koalas to the seafood feast and that golden-hour fire session. And Renae will be delighted to know her behind-the-scenes magic didn’t go unnoticed! Thanks again for the kind words and high recommendation—it means the world to our team. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!

A wonderful way to learn about the history and natural beauty of this part of Australia. The food and scenery were spectacular.

Great to hear that you had a such a fantastic day out with us. We get used to the scenery in our back yard (as well as the food of course) but we do love to hear feedback from our clients so many thanks to you! For our port stay in Port Lincoln on our Australia circumnavigation we arranged a Wildlife Safari with Australian Coastal Safaris and were glad we did so. Our excellent driver-guides David and Peter picked us up from the port and gave us a fantastic jeep tour over huge sand dunes to amazing cliffs and spectacular viewpoints. We had two vehicles with a group of six in each jeep. On the way we had a very tasty picnic lunch with big fresh prawns, chicken, salad and fruits. Before returning to the port we had a last stop at Mikkira Station to spot Koalas in their natural habitat. We saw many of them hanging around in the trees. We enjoyed our Wildlife tour with Australian Coastal Safaris very much and can only recommend them. Thanks again for the wonderful day!

This is great & what another cracking day this was! So pleased to be able to take your group off the cruise ship & get you out into the "real Port Lincoln" & its very best attractions. No one else on the cruise ship would have got to experience what you did so we are sure that you were the envy of all other passengers! We really appreciate not only your booking but the time that you have taken, to post another fantastic review & we're super pleased that you enjoyed your day out with us - as we did with you! Safe sailing & let us know if you are coming back into our region as there is a lot more that we can do & see here! Thanks again, you were awesome! David
You'll may meet our local fishermen and visit the Southern Hemispheres largest fishing fleet going about its work at the commercial marina.
Experience nature & wildlife while traversing the rugged Lincoln National Park and 4WD through a massive sand dune system. Adventure, we might even get the sand boards out or take in a small hike and the stunning coastal sights
Arguably one of the best koala experiences in Australia, privately owned station where you can see koalas up close and personal. You will encounter more than 20 or 30 koalas in your time spent here. Not only koalas but keep an eye out for kangaroos, emus and the diverse birdlife.
