Visiting the National monument, we were lucky enough to watch some of the rehersals for the upcoming Independence day celebrations. Jeffrey was a great guide full of interesting information.

As we did not have long in Jakarta,we booked the full day tour to see the city. We were accompanied by a Tour guide and a driver, in a well air-conditioned car. Sonny (guide) was friendly, knowledgeable and keen to ensure we were comfortable. Itinerary was comfortable and we did not feel rushed. Iggy was a safe driver,

Hit all the main tourist sites. The guide and driver were friendly and informative and answered all our questions. Impressed with the mosque and the people there are friendly and accommodating. Visit to a puppet maker to learn and potentially buy. No pressure from the puppet maker. The lunch was plentiful and fairly good.

My colleague and I have been show around Jakarta by an experienced driver and guide. The tour went smooth, the guide was prepared and polite. We could learn all about Jakarta and Indonesia culture in a day. I truly reccommend this company. The food included for lunch was good and good quantity. The car provided was clean and with good AC. All the sites described have been visited plus some extra customization.
The first place you will visit is the Istiqlal mosque. This is the largest mosque in South East Asia, as it can accommodate a congregation of up to 120,000 people.
Afterwards you will drive to reach the Sunda Kelapa harbor. This 500-year-old harbor area was a vital link to the markets of the outside world in the 15th century kingdom of Pajajaran. It was formerly the harbor town of Sunda Kelapa where the Portuguese traded with the Hindu Kingdom of Pajajaran in the early 16th century. Since then this port has belonged to the Portuguese and Dutch.
Continue to Monas (Monument National) is a 132 meter high tower located in the center of Merdeka square symbolizing the fight for Indonesia, and commemorating the struggle for Indonesian independence.
This 1.3 square kilometer heritage site has been famous for the central trading of Asia in the past due to the strategic location and natural resources. This site is always full of people that wander through the street and the main square.
Gereja Katedral built in the neo gothic style which was consecrated in 1901, a common architectural style to build churches at that time.
