If I could give a minus score -10

GDE96, Sept 2025

Do not book this with tripadvisor. They passed my booking to viator and they in turn passed it on to a local operator. I had looked at a couple of sites previously who did not have the exact date I was looking for but when I went on tripadvisor the date was available and they allowed me to book and put a hold on my credit card for the full amount which was non refundable if cancelled. Only later did they tell me the booking was only pending and they would let me know within 72 hours. This left me high and dry as they had taken the funds and I was unable to explore any other options or dates. Needless to say they did not come through with the tickets and notified me the evening before I was due to do the tour even though I had left a number of messages with them in the days before. When I questioned the local operator on their process they had the audacity to blame me for booking at the last minute. I said that other sites had blanked out dates that were unavailable and that when I booked and paid on the tripadvisor website I assumed I was paying for the tickets to be delivered immediately. A total farse of a way to do business. Be Aware.

Response from Host, Sept 2025

Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback. We were quite surprised by your review, as it does not concern the actual tour to Auschwitz, but rather the booking process through Viator/Tripadvisor. As clearly stated during the booking process, your reservation was not confirmed, and you did not receive any confirmation from our side. Therefore, we are unsure why you would expect the tour to proceed without confirmation. Due to high demand and limited ticket availability at the Auschwitz Museum, our tours are subject to manual confirmation. This is explained on the Viator platform before finalizing any booking. Real-time availability is not possible, and this is why confirmation is required before a booking can be considered finalized. Additionally, as you booked via Viator, we did not charge your card, nor did we receive any payment. Viator will automatically release the funds back to you in such cases. In summary, we are sorry for any misunderstanding, but your review seems to be directed at the Viator booking process rather than our actual service. We kindly ask that such concerns be addressed through the appropriate platform, as our team followed all standard procedures and communicated accordingly.

Great private transportation with an incredible driver, Barton. Excursions were breathtaking and must see!

Bartos was our driver and he was top notch. He helped us into both tours, told us exactly what to do and even helped us with a snafoo of not bringing my dtrs ID bc in the states younger (<18) kids don't really need them. He chatted when we wanted to and let us sleep when we were tuckered out. He gave us some great recommendations which we followed the next day on our free day and they did not disappoint. Great uman and tour liason. We also felt fancy booking our tour which included private hotel pick-up/all relocations, and tours. Not to mention a quick food pitstop he discovered we needed by checking on us. Must book with them!
