This trip was amazing and Sarah our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and so friendly. We had a good amount of time to wander throughout Monet's gardens and you could actually recognize the locations of many of his paintings To walk through Monet's house was really special but it took my breath away to stand where he once stood to paint his water lily series. It was great being able to see some of his works and to be able to take pics. My only quibble is that I didn't realize that when we were given a time to meet after wandering in the garden we wouldn't be given time to shop in the amazing gift shop.

The drive through Giverny was picturesque but it would have been nice to have a bit of time to take photos of some of the really old buildings.

Next was the cooking class where we participated in the meal which was delicious. This class wasn't as much for learning as it was assisting with recipes I had never tried before. The other thing is that the food that was prepared wasn't made up of Monet's favourites . It was explained by our delightful chef Stephanie that Monet's favourites would take too long to make in the time that we had. Nonetheless it was a really nice break in the day and the food was noteworthy.

On to the museum where I was quite in awe to see the wonderful paintings. The museum was more homey and less crowded than large museums. Don't make the mistake of taking pics.

This day was certainly a highlight of my whole time in Paris and the UK. I would recommend the tour to everyone most whole-heartedly.

Dear guest, Thank you for your nice review. The gardens of Monet are indeed breathtaking and we take the time to enjoy them. We spend about two hours on the spot. Your guide will accompany you for more than an hour before leaving you free time, to stroll in the gardens, take a break to the amenities and enjoy the amazing gift shop. It is impossible to leave without going through it. On the way to Giverny, the landscapes and villages are very pretty. We can stop for a photo break especially when we can see poppy fields. You just have to ask. Unless there is a significant delay on the day, the guide will never refuse it and will even take pictures for you. Regarding cooking classes, they are inspired by Claude Monet's cookbooks. But Marguerite, his chef had much more time (2h) to cook. We adapt the recipes. We do not put as much butter and cream then. This course is no longer integrated into the excursion but offered as a unique experience in Paris. Concerning the Marmottan Monet Museum, it is Monet's most important painting collection. The museum is not very busy which makes it very pleasant. Photos are now allowed. Thanks again for your recommendation
