This small, intimate group tour takes you on a journey with two wonderful artists, Claude Monet and Vincent Van Gogh. Your guide will take you from your meeting point in Paris to both Biverny and Auvers-sur-Oise, telling you stories about the artists’ lives that you won’t find in any guidebooks.
You’ll visit Monet’s Japanese Water Garden and Clos Normand Garden, plus visit Van Gogh House. You’ll hear all about impressionism, and about the lives of the artists themselves.
At the end of the tour, you’ll hop back into our air-conditioned minivan and return to Paris where the rest of the day is free.

Lovely day! Combining Giverny and Auvers was a perfect day. There was enough time to see both areas. I enjoyed the drive as well, getting to see the countryside. Our guide Nico was delightful and knowledgeable! I enjoyed the information and historical background he imparted. Our group contained 7 people and was perfect!

Beautiful gardens at Giverny and Auvers sur Oise was so quaint and beautiful. It was a wonderful experience to be able to see these places and how it inspired the works of these masters.

Highly recommend. Meeting is early in the morning with a full day travelling through the countryside of France. Monet's home and garden was visited early so did escape the hoards of tourists. Retracing Van Goughs steps was also an experience to remember.

Martin (?) was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and showed us great things. The sites were beautiful and we learned a lot. It was nice to get out to see the country as well outside Paris. Highly recommended guide and tour experience.
See the beautiful pond full of water lilies and cross the little green, Japanese style, bridge that are featured in thousands of Monet’s paintings.
Wander through the lovely Clos Normand flower garden where a hundred different flowers are in bloom
Enjoy free time to visit Monet’s home of more than 40 years where he raised his 8 children and put the final touches on his paintings.

When you arrive in the little town of Auvers-sur-Oise you’ll be able to take at least an hour long break. There is a boulangerie with fresh baked goods as well as several little restaurants that serve good local foods at reasonable prices. You can choose to eat in whichever establishment best fits your taste and budget.
Discover how Vincent Van Gogh’s lived and spent his last days in the boarding house: Auberge Ravoux.
Follow the Artists trail that leads from “The Stairs in Auvers” to the “Wheat Field with Crows”, stopping along the way to see “The Church in Auvers” and many more of the sites that inspired his final paintings.
