Fantastic Tour! I’m going to sleep like a log.

Alex was such an excellent guide today. He brought interesting facts, was really observant and was able to show wildlife such as sloths, toucans, turkey vultures, and humming birds. He could even catch them while driving and would pull over to show them to us. And besides, he has great taste in music, good humour, and was great company through the trip. The trip was a lot of fun. The hot springs were so lovely, and the volcano and falls with great views even with bad weather. FYI - the waterfall and volcano both involve hikes that are entirely steps. Approximately 500 steps each way. The waterfall has lots of places to sit on the way but the volcano doesn’t. So prepare for a not just a regular hike. I also recommend to bring some biodegradable wipes or Kleenexes as some of the bathrooms on the way were not maintained. I was glad I brought my own.

Our tour was absolutely fabulous, and it's all thanks to our driver, Alex. We went on several different tours with our time in Costa Rica, and Alex far surpassed our other guides and expectations. He cared about Costa Rica, it's wildlife and nature, and us as guests. Because of his keen eye, we got to see sloths, monkeys, and iguanas up close in their natural habitat. He took amazing pictures for us at the waterfall, and his explanations were detailed. We even talked about how we wanted to take him everywhere with us! The hot springs were so relaxing. Every step of the way, he called ahead so our food and drinks were ready, including dietary restrictions. Definitely request him.

Alex Blanco was the best tour guide. He’s was very nice and friendly and a great driver. The waterfall was beautiful, it is 500 stairs to get down and up to get to the waterfall but very worth it. The volcano was hard to see because of the fog but we expected that. The hot springs were so nice, a great way to end a long day

Explore Costa Rica’s most popular touristic destination on this Arenal Volcano Combo tour. Travel to the northern plains of Costa Rica on a very scenic ride & discover 3 of the most popular attractions of this area. Take a walk to La Fortuna Waterfall, Costa Rica’s most beautiful waterfall & swim in its refreshing waters. After swimming at La Fortuna Waterfall, you will enjoy a delicious Costa Rican typical meal.
