A very enthusiastic and knowledgeable presentation of a history of Hexham from Helen who was very engaging and enthusiastic about the subject. Very worthwhile walking tour of Hexham to give an in depth and interesting perspective of local events and locations

Met us at our hotel and gave us a great insight into the past hard life of our forefathers.

Everything about this tour was wonderful and really included some interesting points about Hexham that most tour guides would not know. 100% recommend this tour if your passing through it’s only one hour and at a absolutely amazing price of £10 per person!!

    We stop outside the stunning Abbey to hear of Hexham's most 'bloodiest' days and then walk through the garden to hear of repeated attacks from invaders.

    We then walk together through the Sele park, discovering beautiful picnic spots.

  • Our last stop ends back at the Market Place, to hear of Hexham's less 'prettier' side.
