Our sake brewery tour stands out with its focus on the traditional wooden barrel brewing technique, a rarity in modern sake production. You'll experience an exclusive 40-minute tasting session featuring unique sake varieties(Honey sake / Local tea sake / Germinated brown rice sake)not found in the market, each meticulously brewed in historic barrels. The tour is deepened by a cultural immersion, with tastings held in a traditional Japanese setting using local Hanno ware. A distinctive aspect is the pairing of sake with nuts seasoned in locally-made soy sauce from wooden barrels, offering a flavor experience unlike any other. Additionally, the opportunity to interact with the Toji, or Master Brewer, adds an educational dimension to the tour, providing insights into the art and science of sake brewing. To commemorate your visit, you'll receive a bespoke souvenir crafted from Nishikawa wood, capturing the essence of this unique and enriching journey through Japan's sake brewing heritage.

It was a great experience going to the Yamane Brewery. The people are really friendly and welcoming. I really like the owner Fuku-san who was explaining everything about their brewery’s origin. Every single bottle of sake was all handmade and I also love the tasting part where he even taught us how to drink it and even got as nuts like almonds and pistachios which was also made by his friend who makes soy sauce. Sweet potato chips were also nice to pair with the sake. The tour was around the brewery was very fun and makes me want to go back again and try his drink all you can sake. The only thing I was worried about was that transportation going to the place. It took us 30 minutes from Hanno Station. It wasn’t a problem for me because I live in a countryside of Japan and I understand the situation but somehow it might be a problem for foreigners who are visiting Japan for sightseeing. They might find it a little bit hassle and inconvenient. Aside from that my overall experience was a 100 percent. I was happy to meet new people and learn new things about Japan.

Such a fantastic tour! We enjoyed a lot in beautiful surroundings, having fun time with authentic sake brewed in a traditional way and their talk on sake culture. I recommend this to all who love sake.

This was well worth the trip! The tour was highly educational and the saké was amazing. I would recommend this to anyone interested in saké and traditional Japanese culture.

Not only was the sake delicious, but there was also a wealth of content that you can't find anywhere else, such as the nature of Hanno and the philosophy of the sake brewery. It was a satisfying experience that was filled with nature and local characteristics, such as Hanno ware, which is local Hanno pottery, a base made from Nishikawa wood, and nuts from Yugeta soy sauce, which is also brewed in wooden barrels.
