Great fun to learn about whisky

A great short experience for the day. Nice to see a more rural area and get out of the city. Our guide Bob H was fantastic, full of energy and friendly.

This was such a great tour with a lot of information and historical facts! Morgan was an amazing tour guide. He was informative, funny, and so kind!! Our trip to the Motlow House was also wonderful! We were kindly greeted and then sat down for a short visit, which was very refreshing. Melissa, Kathy, and a man (so sorry I forgot his name, but he graduated high school from Tullahoma) were all so sweet and friendly! We will be back for sure!

From Nashville, expect a long day of travel. Most of which is consumed by highway traffic there & back. Lynchburg has very little to experience & even less time. The Jack Daniels distillery tour is absolutely nothing special or different than any other tour & the tasting is nothing more than what one gets in a bar.

The Jack Daniels Distillery Tour and Kathi

An old friend and my brother-in-law took the Distillery Tour on 8/16/25. Our tour guide, Kathi, was a true wealth of information and humor. I've taken this tour a couple of times, 40 and 6 years ago, but, this visit was even better than those all because of Kathi. Even if you are not a Jack drinker, you owe it to yourself to take this tour. At a little less than two hours, this is a combination of a walk through this Lynchburg hollow and history. I can assure you that you will have a greater appreciation of the products of the oldest registered distillery in the US.
