Dear Manuel_C, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found Hallstatt beautiful. However, we would like to kindly address a few inaccuracies in your review regarding the tour cancellation and rescheduling. This is a small-group tour that requires a minimum of 4 passengers to operate, as clearly stated in the tour description. Unfortunately, several other guests cancelled their bookings just four days before the scheduled departure on April 22nd, which meant we fell short of the minimum number required. On April 18th, we contacted you by email and promptly offered you two clear alternatives: to move to an alternative tour date or to receive a full refund. You chose to move to the April 21st departure, and we processed this change at no extra cost to you. We sincerely regret the inconvenience this caused to your travel plans. Please note, however, that we are not responsible for any separate bookings or cancellation fees you incurred with third-party providers. The $85 charge was applied directly by the other operator according to their own terms and conditions, over which we have no control. Last-minute cancellations by fellow guests are an unfortunate but common challenge with small-group tours. Our minimum passenger requirement and cancellation policies are clearly outlined at the time of booking. We always do our best to run every tour as scheduled whenever the minimum is met. We believe we handled the situation transparently and in full accordance with our published terms. We truly hope you still enjoyed your time in Hallstatt despite the change in plans.
