Fantastic tour. I brought a group of young Americans and the loved it and we're a bit overwhelmed by it. An experience well worth having if you come to Belfast.

Billy was fabulous. He gave us a rich and detailed story of the geographies and imaginaries of The Troubles in west Belfast. Very moving accounts, with all the international parallels. He was entertaining yet serious .. very knowledgeable and informed and inviting of questions. a lot of history packed into those two hours! All that and the ‘Kneecap’ connection too. thanks - it was the highlight of our time in Belfast.

Our guide Billy was amazing; he gave us a brief but informative history of The Troubles and he also shared some of his own personal experiences. He encouraged us to ask questions which he was happy to answer and by the end of the tour we felt that we had learned a lot.

Let me start by saying that Joe is the most amazing human. This tour felt so much more than what we are expecting, and the root cause of that is thanks to him. Not only were we able to hear such a detailed and intricate web of history surrounding Belfast, but we were able to get an incredible personal touch from someone who went through it. If you find yourself in Belfast this is one you simply cannot pass up. Thank you again Joe for such an amazing experience, we cannot wait for our return trip!
