Overview
Depart from a centrally located Geneva pickup point in an air-conditioned coach and embark on a scenic journey across the Switzerland-France border. Gaze at the snow-capped spires of the Alps as your guide sets the historical scene of Annecy, a medieval town shrouded in legend.
As you approach, marvel at the emerald waterways that weave their way around the town hailed as the "Venice of the Alps;" appreciate the picturesque tableau of colorful houses decorated with flower-filled balconies, and set out on a short orientation tour of the town, exploring the Old Town and its charming collection of monuments. Definitely worth a visit. Beautiful lake, stunning views of the Alps and great local food. Morning coffee at Olivier Pauriche Patisserie was fantastic, probably best in the town.
