Overview

After pickup from a centrally located spot, escape the metropolitan bustle of Bordeaux and travel to lands of verdant vineyards in an air-conditioned coach. Marvel as the views from your coach transform from city sprawl to a spellbinding natural tableau of rolling hills and beautiful vineyards, and listen as your guide offers fascinating insight into the rich geological and historical heritage of the winemaking region, which dates back to the 8th century.

Depending on the day of your tour, visit two different wineries and vineyards unless touring St-Emilion. See the picturesque territories of each region and delve into the underground cellars of the wineries to taste refined samples produced on the property.

The return to your vehicle and relax during the journey back to central Bordeaux.

A village tour not a wine tasting Tour

Lori_R, Apr 2025

Guides were fantastic! However, we thought we werebooking a half day wine tour. It was instead a half day walking tour that ended with a single wine tour. Overall it was a good tour but not as the title described. We wanted an afternoon of wine tastings.

St Emilion half day wine tour not recommended unless it is in one language.

Cannymissus, Oct 2024

This tour was an afternoon one beginning at 1.30. On October 28th 2024. Unfortunately it catered for both French and English speaking tourists at the same time . It would be far better to have separate days or times for each nationality as all of our time was taken up with alternate translations. This resulted in LONG periods of standing around and listening to another language before we could move on - also we saw less because of this - our time in St Emilion ( the medieval village), was less than satisfactory . Half an hour at most. This concern and disappointment was voiced by many of us on the trip after the fact. There was non stop talking by our guide on the bus which led to a good many admitting to just switching off. The information on wines given on the bus was also repeated at the vineyard. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this trip unless it catered for one language at a time I’m sorry to say.

Lovely Solo Travel Option

Went on the Médoc region tour, the tour guide (Bruno) was hilarious and so knowledgeable of the region and the winemaking process. Made for a great afternoon trip out of the city.
