Great overview of Berlin’s rich history

mekaelab2025, Aug 2025

The guide was very knowledgeable and involved. I really enjoyed the history learned on this tour. There was as much information as possible on this tour and the guide did a great job of being concise while still providing all the interesting details. It was free but I would strongly encourage to leave a tip.

Absolute must-do!

Katya was a dream tour guide. Incredibly knowledgeable and an excellent storyteller. I left the tour feeling a deep understanding and appreciation for Berlin. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

A great way to see the city quickly

Puddinggemma, Aug 2025

Myself and my 12 year old son did the 3 hr English language tour with Roshana. It was a great way to take in the sights when we were just in Berlin for a few days. Roshana was very knowledgeable and friendly and stopped regularly to give information. We chose this tour because it seemed to visit more sights than the others we saw. It didn’t disappoint. We weren’t a huge group so could all keep up, hear and had a chance for questions. The information said the tour would end back at the start point but we finished at the Brandenburg gate. It wasn’t a problem. We were spending the rest of the day sightseeing, but just a heads up that you may not end up where you started. We booked through Viator and paid about €5 but this is more than likely just an admin fee for Viator and you are expected to ‘tip’ the guide. We’d done these ‘free’ tours in other cities so were aware and took cash. It’s not a small tip as you’d pay in a restaurant or taxi, you are paying them for the tour. It’s a fabulous way to learn more about a place from an incredibly knowledgable source. Would definitely recommend.

A fantastic way to spend an afternoon on Berlin

What a great experience! Our tour guide Rodolfo was very passionate and knowledgeable, which made for an excellent tour, as well as taking the time to chat to everyone individually about their visit to Berlin. After the tour, he was kind enough to share with us a list of recommendations for restaurants, bars, and even movies to see to continue our experience in Berlin. All the major sites were covered, as well as an explanation of the history and stories behind each location. Thankyou Rodolfo for a wonderful introduction to Berlin.
