Tòrun has the leaning tower of Tòrun. Nice city to visit for a day trip from Warsaw. Would love to visit again.

First time here. No tall sky scrapers like Warsaw but still has it charms. The city has their own leaning tower also.

The Mercedes minivan driver Mirek Kopec was courteous and friendly throughout the trip. He told me many stories and facts about his country. The local guide in Toruń was also very nice and gave us a full three hour tour of her city.

Wonderful informative tour of an old city in Poland that escaped the damages of the Second World War. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable of the history of the city and presented it in an interesting narrative. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

Thank you for your review. Please visit us again, there is much more to see.
Travel back in time and explore the charming old city of Torun on the banks of the River Vistula. You will drive south to see all the most significant monuments of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Upon arrival, a guide will meet you to lead you through the Old Town which was undamanged by World War II, inscribed by UNESCO in 1997 for its largely intact medieval street plan and outstanding buildings. Starting with the Leaning Tower, part of the city’s medieval walls, Town Halls and Artus Court. You will also explore the adjacent New Town, founded in 1264 and amalgamated into the Hanseatic League 12 years later. Admire the red-brick merchant houses and Gothic spires of churches, such as the late Gothic Church of St. James. Go to the ruins of the Castle of the Teutonic Order, destroyed by the town’s residents in 1454. Stop at the house where Nicolaus Copernicus was born, and learn about his life and work in astronomy. Finally, sample some of Torun’s famous gingerbread.
